Manchester United failed with a bid for Arda Turan, the player’s agent has confirmed to AMK.
The Red Devils were keen to sign the Turkey international over the summer and Ahmet Bulut has now revealed they made a bid last season.
However, Atletico Madrid rejected their offer - the value of which has not been revealed - before accepting a bid from Barcelona.
Turan is yet to make his debut for the Catalan club due to their transfer ban which prevents him being registered until January 1.
